Light Elegance Gels

I keep meaning to get these out and have a play, but cleaning the brushes is such a faff I usually put it off.

In my hunt for Mocha Mousse matches, I spotted the P+ Traditions and thought it might be a good match. That got me thinking about the Light Elegance gels that I have, so I decided to pick out a few and have a go.

I love the finish on these, they are so smooth and sleek, and so far they all have a lovely depth of colour. You can definitely tell why they are expensive. I picked these up last year when Sweet Squared decided to sell them off and I am so pleased I did.

The only problem I have is the application. I really struggle to get them onto the nail smoothly. I might watch a few You Tube videos and see if there are any tips out there on how to apply them. I try as best as I can and then give them a few seconds to self-level, which they do really well, but they end up being a bit chunkier than I would like for sure.

They are beautiful, and I really should get them on my own nails – I have so many beautiful colours in this range to choose from.

I just love how bright these are! Smitten is a super bright neon pink, Meet Me By The Blueberries would be great for snowy nail scenes. It’s transparent and there are 4 coats on this one to build it up to the colour you can see here.

French Bikini is a bright coral but with a hint of shimmer running through it.

More lovely colours to choose from, yay!
