Best Foil Gel Ever

Today’s entry into the archives is a review. Been buying Hona foils for a while now, but never thought to buy their Get Tacky foil gel. Unknown why.

Bank holiday weekend sale has been on so, at discount price, with an additional 15% discount code I just couldn’t resist. Plus it’s a 20ml bottle so you get a lot for your money – honestly at this price is close enough to the best cheap brand out there to be in everyone’s kit.

It’s applied in a normal coat, not too thin and not too thick, and cured for 60 seconds. I’ve let it cool and I’ve also wiped my gel nails with alcohol before applying to make sure my surface was free from any other contaminants.

And then…

Wow – the magic happens. Best foil gel I’ve ever tried, giving the best all over results. They do also do a detail version of this, but I decided I didn’t need it, I could always just paint smaller sections with a small brush if I needed to.

These are the best results I’ve ever had with full coverage foils and I don’t think I will ever be buying another foil gel ever again. And I think I’ll be using my foils more than ever before.
