Y’arrrr me hearties

Owned a CJS pirates plate for a while, decided to give it a whirl today. The pirate face and hat is 7 – yes 7! layers. These are:

• Face
• Freckles, eyes and nose
• hair
• bandana
• hat
• pirate emblem
• lips

And it looks pants – but if you got the positioning right, it would be most awesome.

I’ve tried a few different techniques here. I like the mermaid scales (reverse stamped), but it could be done better. Like the first one, but the text needs to be clearer. God only knows what the middle one is supposed to be – chrome deffo doesn’t work here and the pirate circles are me practicing positioning.

Would like to revisit this one in the future.
