Testing foil polish

Today’s mini practice as have been busy today and working tonight.
This is a test of the difference in using foil stamping polish in white and rose gold.
On the left is the white foil stamping polish, and the other two are using the rose gold. Stamped with the Yours Vintage Lace plate, on Sunday Best Light Elegance P+ gel polish – 2 coats.
I then applied shiny no wipe top coat and buffed, then stamped.
I think that you can see a difference in the colour of the chrome, its darker, and seems to be less smooth on the rose gold stamping polish.
It didn’t pick up the 1st attempt at the rose so I wiped the nail with alcohol and did it again. I didn’t wipe the plate with acetone, I wiped it with alcohol and then realised that the stamp wasn’t as clear so I redid the test, but I didn’t have time to repaint a white nail, so the right nail is rose gold foil stamping polish, with the same Hona chrome as has been applied to the other 2, but on a pre coloured purple / mauve tip
The white foil stamping polish I have (Moyra) I have had for 4-5 years now, so not at it’s best, but I do think it performs better in this example.
I also attempted to stamp with the chrome silver stamping and painting gel and I cannot get it to pick up at all. So, I need to find out why, correct my technique, and re-try as this colour is stunning.
