Stamping, Chrome and Crystals

Continuing to practise what I have recently learnt.
On the left: pre coloured tip, jewellery design from a Temu plate, chromed with a gold chrome from Hona and then crystals added over some of the dots to add a little bit more to the design.
2nd from left: Carrying on with the same theme as yesterday, this time I used CJP Cherry Poppins for the base – a really lovely maroon colour. I added a black stamp in a French tip style. This was then top coated and buffed. I stamped with another jewellery design and again added a small crystal into the design.
Centre nail: Cherry Poppins for the base again, this time I didn’t add a layer of black stamping. I added a mandala stamp design and chromed and finished with top coat.
2nd from right: Just peeking through you can see CJP Bombshell colour, it’s an amazing glitter holo pink which I have no idea why I haven’t used more often. I’ve used glitter gels as bases before and it’s never really worked. This was an idea from the Moyra website (another one!). The base took 3 thin layers to build to an all over glitter finish. This was then stamped with a swirl pattern from a Yours plate. I used the pink Moyra stamping polish, and then, to add a little bit more pizazz I added the same pattern again, stamped in the colour peony red.
I went over this with a tie-dye heart pattern from a MoYou Trend Hunter plate, and added the word peace. I used the white foil stamping polish, as on the website it says it’s better for tiny details and text. This nail and the one next to it are stunning to look at. Really love the bombshell colour.
On the right: Same base, CJP Bombshell. This time I decided to stamp in the pink, but omit the darker pink colour. I added a white tie-dye swirl and the words Soul Smile as they were on the plate I had and just wanted to practice, so it’s not really that important what the words say. This time I added a crystal to the centre of the tie-dye swirl – but in all honesty, it’s too big, and it doesn’t add anything to the design, so not sure I would do it again.
I love how all of these turned out, another set of brilliant ideas from Moyra. The holo glitter sparkle doesn’t pick up well in the picture. In real life, these 2 nails are a thousand times more beautiful than they look on the screen.
