Seascape Nails
Little practice today, working up to trying to achieve the beach nails I have lusted after for so long, but been too afraid to try.

I started with a cat eye, light blue glitter gel from Xeijai – 2 coats and magnetised to be super shiny and bright in the centre.
Then a layer of foil, from Temu, which is perfect for the background, but completely hid the cat eye effect.
It’s a perfect background for seascape nails, but it’s come in a very tiny 20cm length piece, so isn’t going to go very far. Maybe I can replicate it with gels. (Doubtful knowing my ombre / blending technique).
I then applied matt top coat, Xeijayi – don’t like using my expensive stuff on my practice nails and picked some of my new stickers, recently ordered as I didn’t have any of the sea when I flicked through my sticker books so ordered some last week.
Carried on with stickers and added the seaweed, 2 little fish and a couple of bubbles. To finish, a tiny piece of white coral, which looks a bit naff really. Thank god it’s a small piece. Then a no wipe shiny top coat to complete the nail and seal in the stickers.
This is on an Apres tip and it fits my left hand middle finger, so may yet become a full set. Didn’t rush this one and I like how it turned out. Might have to do each of these nails one at a time to beat my procrastination. Also found myself not wanting to use the best stickers, just in case I didn’t like how this turned out. So, hopefully this will just get better and better, and may even include an aquarium nail with moving liquid and glitter to complete the set.
TTFN!
