Been obsessed with creating press on nails – and had to do some for G – couldn’t resist. I still need to do some esoteric and gore nails for her, but so far, 3 sets completed for her.

The Vampire Nails

These were fun to do – although in fairness, they are all fun to do.

I’ve used stickers for these, and a water decal for the gravestone nails. The skulls are 4D and overcoated with red glass gel to give the red effect.

The Dragon Nails

G has always been a big fan of dragons, so these were a must and these are pretty basic. Based on what is out there on Pintrest I’ll revisit these when I’ve improved my painting skills. We’ve got fire – hand painted, purple glitter, cos dragons are mythical beasts and why not.

Dragon eyes – these could most deffo be improved and re-done, but did these from memory, so I think they are a bit shit, but G seems to love them.

Blood drips and spatter – essential with dragons methinks. And scales on cat eye – created using washing bubbles in top coat to give a 3D nobbily effect. Deffo going to re-do these in the future.

The Bug Nails

G is a massive fan of bugs and insects and not long before doing these she found a fluffy May beetle and had it in her hands for a good while before it flew away. Giant it was and so bad at flying. These are hand painted and stickers used for the bugs themselves. These could be better done – I’ve got so many ideas so, there will be another set at some point in the future.

I was stumped on how to chrome the gold bits, so ended up adding the chrome to top coat to make a gold outline for the viewing bit and used a dotting tool to create the dots. So many ways I can improve this design going forward.

Love these – and loads more in the pipeline. I really need to work on my photo skills.
