Practice, practice, practice

Today’s nail practice!
Top row, left to right:
- 1 and 2 – Moyra Lavender Cream Flexi gel with purple and metal purple stamping polishes on the Spicery plate to give a lavender layered look. This is from the Moyra Instagram page – to be honest, their version looks better, but hey, art skills aren’t really my strong point.
- 3 – Moyra mini gel 112 stamped and black pigment added. Not very black though, sadly. Stamped with the Uberchic All Mixed Up plate
- 4 – Lecente Soho gel, same stamping plate as above, stamped with black Moyra foil gel and Magpie chrome AB.
- 5 – Lecente Oxford Circus gel – only one coat needed, stamped and chromed with same Uberchic plate and I think Hona Melo chrome.
Bottom row, left to right:
- 1 – Oxford Circus again – this time I added the chrome to the stamper and then rolled the stamper over the plate and then applied – I like this effect but the chrome is hard to just get on the stamp, it kind of stuck where I had applied it on the stamper as well – so need to work on this technique.
- 2 – TGB Khaki – I have the mini size bottle of this one. I stamped this from the Lina Opposites Attract plate. I used 2 different designs and 2 different chromes, Bruna and the green one from Magpie. I thought the green chrome would look subtle but nice over a green base and it is subtle. Possibly a bit too subtle for my liking.
- 3 – TGB – By appointment only – again mini bottle size gel, stamped with a big fern leaf from the same plate as above. I again used the green Magpie chrome which looks better on this colour, but the shimmery polish and chrome together is too much – I think it works best on a non shimmery gel colour. Otherwise it seems a bit hard to differentiate between the gel and the chrome pattern.
- 5 – Coco TGB gel – again a mini size bottle – such a beautiful glittery deep brown shade, stamped with a bird pattern from the same Lina plate. I used white foil stamping polish for this one, and a simple chrome – I would like to try this with the black foil stamping polish to see the different effects.
I kinda love how all of these turned out – I’d wear any of them. In fact I would probably wear all of them, at the same time, like the totally non colour aware person I am.
Ciao for now…
