Nail Stamping

It’s been Christmas 2024 and New Years Eve tomorrow.

The nail challenge fizzled out on about day 18 so note to self – do smaller challenges next time.

Over the break I have been doing nails tho, working on builder gel application on myself – some improvements but not as perfect as I would like and stamping. Stamping overload to be fair.

I stamped a silver snowflake design on a dark blue background on my own nails – a full set for Christmas which looked lovely – but now looks a bit ratty and is missing on a few nails while I change over.

Used a Moyra stamping polish – chrome silver and a Moyra mini plate for the snowflakes and got the text from another plate and the blue background is Magpie Celestial Sky which is just a gorgeous shimmery dark blue.

So here’s the nail stamping so far:

So much to unpack in this picture.

Lots of chrome stamping, some foil stamping, 1 rainbow reverse stamping – deffo need to practice this. Some layered stamping – again, needs practice, but totally addicted to stamping and getting a bit braver about trying it out.

Just need to be a bit more rigorous in completing the web uploads and the info so I can see my skills develop.

There have been some amazing sales on amongst the brands, TGB have added an outlet page to their site with a few gels at 70% off – my favourite price to pay for TGB so there are some more of those to swatch. Lecente have also done an amazing sale, as have Ink and Nail Order also did a 50% off on a few products so had to get a few more of those to try. Hopefully I’ll post a few of those as we go forward as well, so I can remind myself of some of my favourites.

Glitter is still my favourite colour for sure.
