Nail Practice – 08/01/2025

Practicing full cover foils today – these are all Lecente foils, applied over gel polish and Glitter Planet foil gel, cured for 120 seconds.

Takes quite a bit of effort to get full coverage, but if I rub, and then start removing from one end, I can put the foil back down over any bits I’ve missed and give them a bit more of a rub which seems to be helping.

These are in order of application from left to right and the tiger print over TGB Rose Gold, rubbed with alcohol before applying the foil gel is my best result to date.

The one next to it, with the stripes is the straightest stripes I have ever managed. I love the marble next to this one too – choosing a close matching base colour means little bits that are missing are not quite as visible.

I’ve got about 6 more new foils to trial and then I should maybe try painting and French again – got some lush Hona detail paints to practice and review too.
