Nail Practice – 07/01/2025

Thought I would have ago at all over foil print again as not done it for a while, and got some new foils in the Xmas sale.

Left: CJP Desert Rose as a base with a pink leopard foil on top. A bit is missing from the top of the nail, but could touch this up with paint if I had noticed this at the time. Used the Glitter Planet foil gel and cured for 60s. Seems to be working ok.

Centre: Again used the Desert Rose base, this time with a transparent neon leopard foil from Lecente. I like this one a lot and it would work on any base – so that’s a bonus.

Right: This is using CJP Blue Hawaiian gel as a base, then foil gel, then added little pieces of angel foil. Then coated in matte top coat and filed to smooth the finish and sort out the edges. Thought it was too obvious so added a Nailchemy glass gel in blue. In hindsight, this covered it up too well.

I didn’t really know what to do with this design at this point so decided to stamp in metal blue from Moyra with a crackle effect plate – from Yours.

Topped them all off with shiny no wipe top coat from Shein – saving the good tops for actual nails.
