Mocha Mousse

This years Pantone colour of the year is Mocha Mousse – so thought I’d pull out all of the possible gels I already own to see if I could find a match, or a series to do a contrasting colour set. The above are the ones I found.

These are a mix of the brands, we’ve got some Guibofu from Shein and Temu, some TGB, and some CJP. I’ve also got others, but was getting a bit bored at this point.

These are all stamped with Moyra foil stamping polish in black and the Yours Fine Marble plate, then chromed with Magpie Auburn, Bruna and Moet.

Reckon I have a few close matches here to be getting on with.

Some of the tips are pulled from older posts – wherever the stamp pattern is different, it’s from a previous post.

Based on the image above, I think the TGB truffle on the bottom row is closest, but it’s a sheer gel so requires 3 coats to build up to this level of colour.

There’s a close Guibofu match from the top row. The last one of these 3 – 007 seems quite a good match. Doesn’t match the bottle colour at all though :D.
