Inspo Practice

Today’s practice was trying to re-create a couple of images from the inspo page on… Stamping!

On the left… Started with a white tip, painted it blue in TGB On the Cloud, the mattified it and created a gradient with black pigment. Then added the silver stamp using the Yours Is the Bar Okay plate. Ideally, next time I’d like the gradient to come less far up the nail so the original blue shines through a bit more.

In the middle, TGB Honey on a white tip to create the warm neutral background. Then Luna All Mixed Up plate for the top half, and Clear Jelly Stamper plate 61 for the bones. In hindsight, I should have used the white background for the bones, but still happy with the result. Although, I could have closed that gap in the middle a bit too.

On the right, TGB Desert Rose for the base, stamped with foil gel using a MoYou plate – Fashionista 18 – and then a generic pink holo nail foil.

Not bad – would try the animal one again, but make the bones white for added effect.
