Halloween Testing Stickers
Quick one today. Rather than stamping, or aquarium nails, or anything long winded, I thought I would do a bit of a comparison of some of the Halloween style stickers I have. I have so many. 😀 😁
My favourite is deffo the holographic one.

To save even more time I used the Nail Order pre-coloured tips in the Bliss pink. I used size 1, even though I have a huge amount of these tips, as this size doesn’t fit me. But it also meant I didn’t need to waste time painting the tips and it’s almost a skin colour – sort of. Use your imagination a bit.
First up (left to right) blood drips. Can’t have a Halloween set without blood drips. I like these – the gradient of lighter reds to dark red, which is true to realistic drips. I think they are a bit muted against this pink background, which is a bit disappointing. I’d like a really vivid red, but this might be more striking against a lighter pink background.
Next along, a glitter silver spider web. For those girly Halloween nails. This was my favourite nail until number four. I do love a bit of a sparkle.
Next one of my least favourite stickers from a Freddy (Nightmare on Elm St) set, featuring crime scene tape and the rhyme, 1, 2 Freddy’s coming for you. Oh my word, I love this sticker set. I thought this would lose something against a deep pink background, but it looks as good as I hoped it would. I might add some white brush stroke polish behind some of the stickers to give them a white background going forward, to give that that extra punch.
Numero four. This is my favourite. The holographic spider web is to die for. It looks so good. Both in pictures and in real life. Bonus point – I’ve stuck it on straight – which must be a first. It’s only taken me 500 attempts. Hopefully it won’t be another 500 attempts before I stick the next one on straight. Love this. Worth a set done in these for press on nails for sure.
Finally, a 5D bone sticker, complete with red patches of blood / gore / bone marrow. Almost straight, but not quite. I’ve got a full set of these – literally the whole sticker sheet is these, so I could do a set in these. Might be better on black, so that in the dark all you can see is the bones. It would be cool to get the effect of no nails, just bones sticking out of the fingers if somehow possible.
Cool little practice, and quick to do, compared to some of the painstaking sets I’ve done previously.
