Halloween Horrors

New phone day!

Moved up to an iphone 12 from my iphone SE and there is a massive improvement in the camera, as you can tell from the images above.

Halloween nails today. Only the left hand completed as yet. Two of these I had already done, so wanted to create the full set. I used Magikels stick and slides for four of the nails, but the little one was too small, so that got a skull sticker that wasn’t too far of the theme of the others. I also tried different colours for skin and skeleton for Little Red Riding Hood and the Corpse Bride.

The base is Lecente Hygge Hugs, and the painting is done with CJS stamping polishes, apart from the very dark purple clothing on nail two (left to right) – which is one of the Maniology ones from the Box of Spells. Wasn’t too impressed with this though, it seemed to have some clear liquid in it, which was quite hard to then replace with purple. Might not have shaken it enough – it has been sat on my desk for a while.

Love the new camera and how these have turned out. I just don’t know whether or not to match the second hand and use the opposite images for the right hand set, or to use completely different decals to give others a bash.

In other news, things seem to be warming up on the fear of not having enough supplies and the ongoing turmoil in the world right now. The UK government added a post to their website about prepping for 72 hours at home around two weeks ago and my brain has gone into melt down. Do I trust that we only need to be able to survive for 72 hours, or do I think they are under-egging it so as not to cause wide spread panic, or over-egging it to keep us shopping.

We’ve had another year that has been rubbish for farmers, that makes four out of the last five years the worst on record for crops and harvests and we seem to be losing oil supply. Fuel prices for the cars are at never before seen levels with diesel now over £2.00 or rapidly approaching £2.00 per litre – even at supermarket pumps. AI creators are now estimating that it’s going to reduce the population of humans – if only it could pick out all of the narcissists hidden within our midst. They’ve all built themselves bunkers in Hawaii and New Zealand and the rest of us have no chance. Thanks lads. Not sure it would bother me so much if I didn’t have kids, but I do.

Wonder what the next few years will look like.
