Glow in the dark ghosties

Halloween nails for this set. Just looking through my sticker collection and wanting to try something different I decided to go for short, wearable nails, in black, with black chrome, and glow in the dark ghosts.

I didn’t really know where I was going with these. First decision was the length. I have lots of sets for long nails, but not any short ones, so these ones were going to fill that gap. Then the choice was colour. Went for black as I have pretty much every other colour to hand now.

Then I remembered I wanted to try my black chrome. I tried it on a different colour the other day and unlike the mirror chromes, it is very see through. Over the black it sort of gave the nails a graphite shimmer effect. Not really my favourite chrome effect but yano, it’s in the available options pot now in my brain at least.

Then I could not decide what to do to make them more interesting. I poured over my sticker books and finally settled on these glow in the dark ghost designs. I quite like how they turned out so I’ve bunged them in my collection. This is the result:

Ready to wear for Halloween. Shame me and G don’t have the same size fingers, or we could just share, but I have fat fongers – they are pretty massive my nails by comparison.

I still need to do a couple of sets for G and one for a workmate of K’s that I could use my projector for, which should be fun.
