A little bumble bee nail set

It may be noticeable that I’ve not been on the ball this month with my nail updates. Kinda lost my enthusiasm a bit to be honest.

Still doing nails and watching tutorials, but not so much updating the blog.

So, almost the end of May, wanted to record this set. This is from a Moyra tutorial.

On the top, different variations of the same bee themed design. The base for these is Moyra SuperShine in Sunshine and the stamps are from the Viva Verde and Botanical plates.

I used one of the Moyra masking stickers to create the space for the bee and the circle – love this effect and how it turned out. Still need to work on my placement though.

I reverse stamped the bee, colouring the blank parts in yellow stamping polish and adding silver to the wings to give them a bit of sparkle. I am bee obsessed at the minute and I think these nails are super cute.

On the bottom – using the Perfect French stamping plate to create a French tip and the woven pattern over the top of it. Then I chromed it with a Hona gold chrome to give it a sparkly finish.

For the final nail I was inspired by a Pintrest post to create a clear gem with dried flowers inside. I added a chrome triangle with pearls and had so many little flowers left over that I created a flower border using Moyra Fixing gel. I love this so, so much, but don’t think it would last me five minutes in reality. I am way too heavy handed to have real flowers protruding from my nails.

But I love the white base and the pretty florals.
