Building Crystal Structures

OK – been a few days, but 4 12 hour shifts cream crackers me out.

There are some mega expensive crystals I want on Ali Express and Temu, but the price just means I cannot afford them.

These 2 circled above are £7.09 for 10, plus VAT, plus £1.94 shipping from the Xiangyu Handiwork Store (store number 911614109) on Ali Express.

There is no way in the world I am paying £1.08 per crystal so I’ve bought the individual crystals (the baguettes and trapezoid / wedge shapes) instead and plan to try and recreate them as best I can for, hopefully, a fraction of the cost.

I’ve had these crystals for a while now, and done my usual thing of being too scared to have a go. So today has been the day. The above is my first attempt.

The top middle are the ones I most want to recreate and first attempt is much too far apart.

But I’ll keep working on these, and going forward keep trying to get them looking more like how I want them to look.
