Music I Love

Ah, the band White Lies. I honestly thought they were a band like the Cure or the Smiths, not recent at all. Decided to look them up today to find out a bit more about them and OMG!! They are a current band!!

Still around, and still making music! Yay!! This means that I can go and see them when they next venture up my way.

We had their song To Lose My Life as our wedding song in 2009, little did I know they actually formed in 2007 so this was a new and current song.

I loved the lyrics and the tune to this song – lets grow old together, and die at the same time – what a perfect sentiment to seal the deal for the first dance and how we wanted our marriage to go and, in 2025 – still exactly how we feel about each other.

They have a few other songs I love, Tokyo and a couple of others. So, so chuffed that they are still around and still making music. Made my day that has!
